Peacock, NBC’s official streaming service, is getting in on the fundraising action with a special weekday variety show featuring talent from the network’s shows.
Appropriately titled “The At-Home Variety Show,” the four-week series will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane and will showcase NBC stars from their homes. Each installment will be about 10 minutes long and will drop weeknights at 7 p.m. The fun starts Monday, May 11.
The massive list of names joining so far including Fred Armisen, Lauren Ash, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, Kate Berlant, The Bella Twins, D’Arcy Carden, Todd Chrisley, Terry Crews, Dale Earnhardt Jr., David Feherty, Ben Feldman, Luis Fonsi, Will Forte, Soleil Moon Frye, Chelsea Handler, Kevin Hart, Ed Helms, John Michael Higgins, Tara Lipinski, Mario Lopez, Jane Lynch, Patton Oswalt, Amy Poehler, Emmy Rossum, Craig Robinson, Mark Wahlberg, and more.
Proceeds from the events will benefit three charities specifically helping with COVID-19: Feeding America, Americares and the United Way.
Peacock’s official launch is still more than a month away, but it’s available now to select Comcast customers.
