Fans of the classic Criterion collection of movies got some good news last week when it was announced that the Criterion Collection is partnering with Filmstruck, a Turner Classic Movies created classic movie focused streaming service.
The bad news though, is that this means Criterion films are leaving Hulu.
There are three FilmStruck subscription plans customers can choose from: the standard FilmStruck monthly subscription for just $6.99 a month, the FilmStruck plus Criterion Channel monthly subscription for just $10.99 a month or the FilmStruck plus Criterion Channel Annual Subscription for $99 a year.
Criterion films used to be a big draw for fans to Hulu, and one of the biggest advantages the site had over other streaming services. So if you’re a fan of classic films and you don’t want to add another service to what you pay each month, you’d better get streaming those movies now.
