Emmy winner Dan Patrick is taking his talents to Peacock for an exclusive sports streaming show that will air 9 a.m. to noon each weekday.
Starting August 24, you can catch Patrick and the “Danettes” (otherwise known as his production team) on NBC’s streaming service for “The Dan Patrick Show,” which currently airs on YouTube and SiriusXM. The show will no longer air on YouTube, but the audio will still be live on satellite radio.
Patrick is one of the most well-known names in sports broadcasting and is known for his A-list interviews. When his show joins Peacock, he’ll be reuniting with former Sportscenter co-anchor Rich Eisen, who also hosts a show on the platform.
All content from the show will be available on-demand if you miss it live, and the top moments from the show will be featured in Peacock’s “trending” section.
Peacock’s Chief Revenue Officer, Rick Cordella, said he was “excited to welcome Dan and his devoted following,” adding that he “adds a distinctive voice to Peacock as we continue to build our live topical sports offering.”
The streaming service is indeed upping their live sports game, adding coverage of the both the U.S. Open Championship and the Women’s Open Championship, plus an NFL Wild Card Playoff Game, events from the upcoming Tokyo and Beijing Olympics, on-demand replays of Triple Crown horse races, and daily sports highlights. Hundreds of hours of documentaries and movies are on the way too like Tiger Woods: Chasing History; 1968; I Am Ali; Dream Team; Being Evel and Peacock Originals Lost Speedways and In Deep with Ryan Lochte.
