The Stirr streaming service (which you should be paying attention to if you’re not already), announced five new channels in their already pretty robust lineup. The Sinclair Broadcast Group owned service debuted in January of 2019, and has quietly been adding quality content ever since.
If you’re not familiar with Stirr (similar to Plex and Xumo), it’s an excellent option for free streaming. Since there’s no charge, it is, of course, ad-supported, but viewers get national news, sports, entertainment along with digital channels and video on demand options. Stirr City is a 24 hour a day channel dedicated to local news and sports, plus entertainment lifestyle from Sinclair TV stations in that city. You’ll also find Stirr Movies, Stirr Sports and Stirr Life.
But this week, five more channels join the fold. They are:
The Beverly Hillbillies Channel – Just like it sounds, The Beverly Hillbillies television show 24/7
Bonanza Channel – All Bonanza, all the time
Sherlock Channel – Nothing but The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
STIRR Fit Channel – Dedicated to 24/7 fitness programming, including GymRa, Yoga
Stirr is available as a desktop app, a mobile app, or an app for connected TVs.
