How to watch the first round of the PGA Championship on August 6

After too long away, golf is finally back this weekend with the 2020 PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. There won’t be any fans in attendance, so you’ll have to stream if you want to keep up. There’s a lot to pay attention to as this event tees off, and of course, a lot of eyes will be on Tiger Woods.

To catch the first-round action at the 2020 PGA Championship, ESPN+ is going to be your best choice. It carries a price tag of just $4.99 a month, which gets you access to hundreds of events plus all of their original programming, on-demand replays, their fantastic 30 for 30 series and more. Even while we’re in a bit of a live sports drought, there’s more content here than you could ever watch.

For Tiger fans, ESPN+ will actually have special coverage of his grouping, airing every single shot – something you won’t get with coverage from other places. That comes as a part of ESPN’s new 10-year deal with the PGA. They’ll be showing one full group each morning and one full group each afternoon in addition to the rest of their coverage. The weekend will see “Featured Hole” coverage of the 18th hole for six hours straight.
