If you’re missing your favorite basketball team during the current coronavirus outbreak, the NBA is offering a little help.
Starting today, they’re offering NBA League pass for free. With League Pass, viewers can watch every single game from the 2019-2020 season, as well as an archive of almost 70 classic games. It’s very similar to the NFL Game Pass, which is being offered free as well for the next few months. NFL Game pass does have a very extensive collection of old games though, making every single game since 2009 available.
To start watching, you just have to set up and activate your account on NBA.com using the web site, an Android/Apple device, a Fire TV device, a Roku device, a PS4/Xbox or a Chromecast. Once you’re registered, you’ll have full access to both full and condensed games from this season and full replays of the classic games.
If you’re interested in watching though, you will need to move quickly. The free offer expires April 22. NBA League Pass, which has live out of market games all season long, usually doesn’t come cheap. It’s $120 a year if you want to watch one team’s games, and $200 a year if you want to watch all games. So while there are no live games to be had, this is an excellent option if you just want to get your hoops fix
