Netflix and the CW are working on a deal to bring CW series to the streaming service considerably faster after a season finishes its linear run.
Variety is reporting the new deal could bring shows like “Jane the Virgin” and “The Flash” less than two weeks after a season ends. That does mean that those episodes would no longer be available on Hulu, which was looking for “full stacking right,” the trade publication reports.
It may not be as much of a concern for Hulu, which is in the middle of launching a new over-the-top live streaming service that could include the CW in its skinny lineup.
