Netflix offers free content to non-subscribers, including Stranger Things & Bird Box

There’s no disputing that Netflix is the king of streaming, but if you’re among the people who don’t subscribe to the service, you can still enjoy some of their content for no charge.

Starting this week, Netflix is offering up 10 original movies and TV shows completely free to non-subscribers. The films are presented in their entirety but the shows don’t include every episode. Included are: Stranger Things, Murder Mystery, Boss Baby: Back In Business, Grace and Frankie, Bird Box, Our Planet, Elite, Two Popes, Love is Blind and When They See Us.

Like a lot of free content, there is some advertising involved, but it’s only a 30-second spot at the beginning.

There’s no even an account signup required – just visit the “Netflix Watch Free” page and enjoy. While Android users can watch via a browser, the offer isn’t available to iOS users.

This isn’t unprecedented territory for the streaming giant as they had a similar deal earlier this year in the US where an original movie – To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before – was made available to non-subscribers. They’ve made similar moves in the UK before with shows like The Crown and other regional content in Mexico and India.
