Netflix‘s newest original comedy – The Santa Clarita Diet – finally has a premier date. The dark comedy starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant will debut globally on Feb. 3, 2017, with the first season scheduled for 13 episodes.
Santa Clarita Diet features Barrymore and Olyphant as Sheila and Joel, husband and wife realtors leading who in an L.A. suburb (Santa Clarita) with their teenage daughter. When Sheila goes through a dramatic change, their lives are thrown down a road towards death and destruction (but it’s not as bad as you think).
This will be Drew Barrymore’s first attempt at television, while fans will recognize Olyphant from the FX series Justified.
