Just in case you haven’t had enough of the adventures of the U.S.S. Enterprise, there’s a new Star Trek series headed to CBS All-Access.
Titled Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, the series is set a decade before Captain Kirk boards the U.S.S. Enterprise and follows Captain Christopher Pike, Number One, and Science Officer Spock. Familiar faces will appear in the series as Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, and Ethan Peck, who were all previously introduced in All-Access shows are returning.
The Star Trek universe has been a big part of CBS All-Access to this point. Both original shows so far, Star Trek: Picard and Star Trek: Discovery saw strong success and the upcoming animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks already has fans waiting.
No official release date has been announced, but it’s likely that the series is still quite a way off. Not only is it still just in the “series order” stage, but productions all across the globe are still shut down because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
