Golf fans won’t have to look too far for highlights of this year’s PGA Tour. In fact, they won’t even have to leave their Facebook feeds. Thanks to a new agreement, highlights are headed to Facebook Watch for the 2020 season.
Expected content includes daily recaps of every round for over 30 events and even player specific highlights, and begins with the Farmers Insurance Open on January 23.
Not only will viewers see action from television broadcasts, but also from the digital PGA Tour Live service. If you’d enjoy a community experience, be on the lookout for Facebook Watch Parties, where viewers watch together on Facebook and comment live. You can expect highlights after each round and interactive elements like Facebook Lives and discussion in “The Gallery,” the PGA’s official Facebook group.
To follow the action, visit the PGA’s Facebook page.
It’s worth noting that there won’t by any live content like there was in 2018, so you’ll be seeing things well after they’ve taken place. But it’s still nice to see Facebook commit to golf coverage and nice to see more convenient accessibility for fans.
