Playstation Vue Adds Live Streaming NBA TV To Their Lineup

Sports fans got a little more incentive to ditch cable this week, as PlayStation Vue launched a channel for streaming NBA TV.

NBA TV has live games and original studio programming, and is available on PlayStation Vue’s Core, Elite and Ultra plans. The entry level Vue plan, Access, doesn’t have the network.

Vue already had ESPN, ABC, and TNT on their Core plan, the three networks that show the most live NBA games presently. This means that every out of market NBA game will be available to Vue subscribers for just under $45 a month.

NBA TV will have almost 100 regular seasons games on their broadcast schedule, plus upcoming postseason games. The postseason games won’t be available to NBA League Pass subscribers, but will be a part of the Playstation Vue plan.

This announcement came just after Sony announced Vue would no longer be streaming all Viacom channels, including Comedy Central, Spike, MTV, VH1, and Nickelodeon.
