Sling TV Adds New à la Carte Channels Channels and Microsoft Edge Support

Sling TV continues its march towards domination of the cable cutting world this week with several large announcements. First, Sling TV announced that several new à la carte channels are now available. Hallmark Movies Now, The Country Network, STARZ and Cinemoi now join the growing list of standalone à la carte channels available for Sling TV users to add to their subscriptions.

Hallmark Movies Now costs just $6 per month and offers hundreds of hours of commercial-free family-friendly content which is not found on any other Hallmark Network including original Hallmark movies like The Wedding March and series like Cedar Cove.

The Country Network can be purchased for just $3 a month and delivers country music videos, live performances, and original lifestyle content for any country music fan. Some of the featured programs include “Live from the Couch” and “Guitars and Swim-Up Bars.”

STARZ is now available à la carte for just $9 a month. Previously, STARZ was only available to customers who subscribed to a base Sling TV package, but now the channel can be purchased on its own with or without a base service. STARZ features hit original series like “Power” and the fantasy romance “Outlander.”

Finally, Cinemoi is now available for just $3 a month and offers a wide range of vintage and modern movies, documentaries, and live entertainment programs. Cinemoi is also available as part of the Hollywood Extra add-on package for Sling Blue and Sling Orange Customers.

In addition to the new channels, Sling also announced that it has expanded its compatibility to now include the Microsoft Edge browser. Edge is the native browser of Windows 10 computers, meaning it just got a whole lot easier for many Windows users to start streaming Sling TV directly through their web browser. Users must have the newest version of EdgeHTML (17 or higher) in order to use Sling TV on Microsoft Edge.
