Just like they’ve done for the past several years, T-Mobile is hooking up subscribers with a great streaming deal. From March 26 to March 30 (just in time for opening day), customers can sign up for a free season-long subscription to MLB.tv – which usually has a price tag of over $120!
T-Mobile has offered this deal for five straight years now, and since they’re the official wireless sponsor of the MLB, you can expect this deal to keep going. The company announced the return of the offer on Twitter in response to a subscriber’s question. “@TMobile y’all doing that MLB promo this year?” asked user “chrissydahitman.” ” Great news, Christian!” T-Mobile replied. “Starting March 24, 2020, T-Mobile customers will receive a free regular full-season subscription to MLB.tv offer as part of T-Mobile Tuesdays.”
If you’re not familiar with the service, it’s a dream for baseball fans. MLB.tv streams every out of market major league game, making it easy to keep up with your favorite franchise.
There are just a few caveats, however. You can’t watch your local team thanks to baseball’s blackout rules, and you can’t steam nationally broadcasted games that are on ESPN, FOX, and MLB Network.
To get the free subscription, you must be an active T-Mobile customer, use the T-Mobile app through an iOS or Android device, and be connected to the T-Mobile cellular network (so you can’t sign up over Wi-Fi!). For more information, visit the T-Mobile Tuesday site.
