fuboTV sports channels 

You’ll be hard-pressed to find other cable-alternative services out there that boast the same sports programming as fuboTV. Services like Sling TV don’t provide the number of sports channels as fuboTV in their base plans. 

Sling TV offers add-on channels a la carte for an extra cost. However, this isn’t exclusive to Sling TV as fuboTV also offers tons of add-ons. More on that below. After the dust settles, you may discover that you’ve paid around the same for Sling TV as you would have for fubo Ultra but still end up with fewer sports channels and events. 

Unlike Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV, fuboTV also offers its exclusive fubo Sports Network. 

Sports channels that fuboTV does not have 

There’s one network that’s unmistakably missing from fubo sports. So, is ESPN on fubo? At least for the time being, fuboTV doesn’t carry ESPN or any other Disney-owned channels. The lack of these channels has been noticeable for some time. That said, fuboTV announced a new deal with Disney that will make numerous Disney channels available on fuboTV. 

When will fuboTV ESPN channels be available? In the near future, which is good news for fans of Monday Night Football. As of this writing, there’s no set date for when you’ll get ESPN and the Disney Channel as part of your fuboTV subscription, but fuboTV’s website states that launch should occur sometime this August. 

Here’s a list of the Disney-owned channels that’ll be available on fubo Standard, Family, Family with Showtime and Ultra.

The term “in-market” above is in reference to your location, meaning you’ll have access to games depending on if you live in a state with a university that resides in the specified conference. When the Disney transition happens, fubo Latino will receive ESPN Deportes, and fubo Español is set to get Nat Geo Mundo. 

Local channels on fuboTV 

Just like traditional TV providers, fuboTV includes a selection of local channels where you can find regional news and sports. Local channels vary but typically involve CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates. Your coverage may depend on your geographic location, especially for regional sports networks (RSNs). 

Keep in mind, ABC News local affiliates will also be made available on select fuboTV plans (fubo Standard, Family, Family with Showtime and Ultra) at some point in August 2020. 

fuboTV add-ons 

There’s an abundance of upgrades and channel add-ons to beef up your fuboTV package. Here are some of the best add-on fuboTV features. 

Cloud DVR Plus 

For an extra $9.99/mo. you can score 500 hours of Cloud DVR space with your fuboTV subscription. That way, you’ll never miss a game again. And one of the best perks — fast-forwarding through pesky commercials. 

Family Share

If you want to increase the number of simultaneous streams on your fubo Standard package from two to three screens, the Family Share add-on is a great solution. Family Share costs $5.99/mo. and is a good idea for mid-size and larger households. 

fuboTV NFL Redzone with Sports Plus

fuboTV’s Sports Plus add-on comes with fubo Ultra. But if you have one of fuboTV’s other packages, then you can add Sports Plus for an additional $10.99/mo. With it, you’ll receive 22 additional sports channels that range from NBA TV, NFL Redzone and NHL Network to PAC12 and Stadium.

There are tons of other sports add-ons for you to boost your sports package with. These additional channels cover everything from international sports to harder to find niche options.
