HBO Max review
Home Box Office, or HBO, was founded by Time, Inc. and today is owned by WarnerMedia. The cable network has long been known for the latest hit movies, along with innovative, original content. Today, HBO is available in over 50 countries and owns seven different networks, which all run continuously and feature various themed programs. HBO created HBO Latino to accommodate its Spanish-speaking viewership with movies, shows and even boxing.
HBO is changing the way you can watch its content. Before HBO Max, you could stream HBO programming through HBO GO if you have a cable TV subscription, or you can watch on HBO NOW if you subscribe directly through HBO. With the introduction of HBO Max, however, HBO is doing away with HBO GO, and HBO Max streaming service will be replacing HBO GO entirely by July 31, 2020.
HBO has been providing home entertainment for over four decades, long before streaming services ever became available. Its award-winning content includes movies, series, documentaries and specials, having developed a reputation early on for its gritty, no-holds-barred attitude toward its in-house programming.
Why HBO Max may be the right streaming service for you
New to the HBO lineup is HBO Max streaming, the new, much-buzzed-about on-demand service with all of your favorite HBO content.
