How to get Hulu deals and offers
When searching for the best streaming service, there are many things that you should probably consider — like the content library, the number of people who can share your account, and, of course, how much it’ll cost. With Hulu, you’ll find many ways to save with the various deals and promotions out there. Not to mention free trials.
If you’re interested in saving big with Hulu, keep reading. But if you’re looking for a more in-depth guide into what Hulu has to offer, we recommend taking a look at our complete Hulu review.
What is Hulu?
Hulu is one of the most popular streaming services on the planet. The streaming giant offers four plans, two of which are on-demand services similar to Netflix. Hulu’s other two plans are live TV options like fuboTV and Sling TV. To read more about Hulu’s different plans, visit our Hulu packages and pricing guide.
What draws so many people to Hulu is its extensive catalog. It includes licensed shows, award-winning original content, and a laundry list of popular and classic movies. Hulu offers an affordable ad-free plan, or you can opt to pay a little more for no ads. Visit our Hulu review to learn more.
Hulu + Live TV
Hulu’s Live TV option comes with Hulu’s on-demand library along with over 60 channels. This is the perfect option for anyone thinking about cutting the cord and switching to a streaming alternative. Some of the networks included within the Hulu + Live TV package include ABC, Bravo, CNN, FS1, FX, TLC and USA. There’s also a no-ads option for Hulu Live, but this only works for select content. You’ll still have to sit through commercials when watching live TV programming. Hulu Live comes with 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage. So, you can record your favorite shows ahead of time and fast-forward through commercials later. Visit our Hulu Live review to learn more.
How do I sign up for Hulu free trial offers?
Signing up for a free trial of Hulu is simple. Visit Hulu’s website from your computer or device and click ‘Start Your Free Trial.’ You’ll be directed to another page where you can choose which plan you want to try.
Once you select your plan, you’ll be prompted to provide your personal information. Click ‘Submit,’ and you can start watching immediately.
Current 2020 Hulu deals
Give Hulu’s basic and No Ads plans a try for an entire month, free of charge. Or, get a week free with Hulu + Live TV.
If you’re a student, you can get a Hulu discount. Students who sign up for Spotify Premium pay only $1/mo. for the first three months. After that, the cost is only $4.99/mo. And the best part, included in your membership is a free subscription to Hulu along with Showtime. Visit our Spotify + Hulu guide to learn how to get this bundle.

Hulu on Xfinity
Anyone with an Xfinity account can link Hulu with Xfinity brands like Comcast, Xfinity Flex and X1. Just open the Hulu app, enter your login information and start watching.
Are there any deals on the Disney Plus, ESPN+, Hulu bundle?
Disney+ is accompanied by ESPN+ and Hulu for $12.99/mo — a savings of $5/mo. Download each app separately to tune into classic Disney films, Avengers flicks, sports coverage or your favorite episodes of Family Guy or Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It’s all on-demand and at your fingertips.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any free trials for the Disney+ bundle. This is also the case for ESPN+. The sports-focused streaming app discontinued its week-long trial earlier this year.
If you’re interested in giving Disney+ a try, you can do so for a week with its free trial.

Maybe you’ve tried Hulu and decided it’s not for you. That’s okay! There are plenty of other streaming services out there. Are you looking for a service similar to Hulu + Live TV? Then we recommend fuboTV ($54.99/mo.), Philo ($20/mo.), Sling TV ($30+/mo.) or Vidgo ($39.99/mo.) And like Hulu + Live TV, these cable-alternative services extend a seven-day free trial period. If you would prefer a niche on-demand service, you may want to check out CBS All Access (or as we covered above), Disney+ and ESPN+.
No matter which of Hulu’s packages you go with, there are deals, promotions and trial periods to help you save. Give Hulu or Hulu (No Ads) a spin for 30 days. Or, you can try Hulu + Live TV or Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV for a week. There are many streaming services similar to Hulu that also offer free trials. So, make sure to test a few out to see which one is best for you.
