Hulu for streaming sports

Hulu’s sports channels include ACC Network, CBS, ESPN, FOX, FS1 and NBCSN, so whether you want to catch an NFL matchup, stream a live MLB home run or watch your favorite golfer tee-off on the PGA Tour, you can – and better yet, you can watch live. For more information on all of the channels offered by Hulu Live, visit our full Hulu channel list.
It also offers the ability to stream local sports. Hulu + Live TV only has coverage in select markets, but it covers more regions than many other streaming services.
If you’re after live TV specifically, you must sign up for Hulu + Live TV, as this is the only plan that lets you watch sports live. Other standard Hulu subscriptions are on-demand only. For more information on Hulu and the different packages it offers, visit our Hulu review and our Hulu Live review.

How to watch your favorite sports with a VPN
Want to watch your favorite sports wherever you are and avoid network blackouts? Take it from us and get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) in addition to your Hulu subscription. Using a VPN is secure because it encrypts your personal data from hackers. It also masks your home’s exact location, meaning you can watch whoever you’re rooting for even if you’re out of market.
Pro tip: NordVPN is one of the most trusted and secure VPN services out there, with plans starting at less than $6/mo.

Hulu sports channels
From CBS to FOX, Hulu has nearly every channel you need to stream live sports. It even includes FS2 and Golf Channel, which you often have to pay extra for with other streaming services. You can watch a huge variety of live sports on Hulu, including NBA basketball, boxing, football, golf, motorsports and even softball.
Sports channels that Hulu does not have
Unfortunately, Hulu live doesn’t offer NFL Network or NFL Redzone. But, it does offer CBS, ESPN and FOX, which cover the majority of NFL games. Still, you’ll be compromising Double Header Saturdays without NFL Network or NFL Redzone on Hulu.
Hulu doesn’t offer much tennis coverage. You can stream the French Open, US Open and some others, but it’s missing the Tennis Channel completely. It doesn’t have beIN SPORTS either, so you’ll be sacrificing the ATP World Tour and WTA World Tour.

Hulu + Live TV lets you watch live local broadcasts of FOX and NBC affiliates, but these are only available in select locations. Extras for sports fans
Hulu’s app is easy to set up and navigate. It features an attractive, clean interface. You can use the Live TV Guide to flip through what’s on and what’s upcoming. You can also find on-demand sports and other shows and movies using the top navigation bar. You can easily see what you’ve recorded and how much storage you have left by clicking on the DVR button.
You can watch on two screens at once, so you can stream games on more than one device. And since it’s compatible with mobiles and tablets, you can also watch live sports on the go. It also works on desktops.
The app comes with plenty of customization features that let you get an even better sports viewing experience. You can add certain sports teams and leagues to your Favorites List, such as NBA basketball, NASCAR or even Premier League football.
