PlayStation Vue Channels List: Guide to All the PS Vue Channels

These days, there are more than a few ways to watch live TV. Gone are the days where cable TV was absolutely essential in order to watch your favorite shows, news and sports. Today, there are various services that allow you to watch live TV without cable. One such service is PlayStation Vue, a $50/month service that works over the internet.

PlayStation Vue is a well established live streaming service, in an industry that is quickly becoming quite crowded. The service offers anywhere from 45+ to 90+ channels, depending on which package you go with. The purpose of this guide is to detail the entire PlayStation Vue channels list, to give you a better idea of what you will get when signing up for this service. Let’s get started!

What is PlayStation Vue?

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves! If you’re a newcomer to this whole cord-cutting thing, it’s understandable if you don’t yet know how these services work. Well, PlayStation Vue is essentially a cable alternative. It gives you a package of channels, all of which you can watch live. Some content is also available on-demand.

The difference between PlayStation Vue and cable TV is that Vue works over the internet. You’ll need a compatible device to use it – like a streaming player (Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, etc.), a PlayStation console, or a mobile device.

Also, PlayStation Vue is contract-free (so it’s easy to cancel PS Vue, if you want). Plus, it’s a whole lot more affordable than cable, with prices starting at only $50 per month. It’s also fairly competitive price-wise with the PlayStation Vue competitors, although it has a slightly higher base price than some competing services.

If you’re still confused, we answer the common question – how does PlayStation Vue work – in a detailed guide. We also have a very detailed PS Vue review. Now, let’s move on to the PS Vue channels!

EPIX hits can be added on for $3.99 per month (or $2.99 per month if you’re a PlayStation Plus member).

Español Pack can be added for $4.99 per month ($3.99 per month for PS+ members).

In addition, there are standalone channels that you can subscribe to. These can be added to your existing subscription to expand your PlayStation Vue channels list – or, they can be subscribed to on their own, without a plan.

PS Vue standalone networks

HBO – $15/month
Showtime – $10.99/month ($8.99/month for PS+ Members)
Cinemax – $15/month
HBO + Cinemax – $21.99/month ($19.99/month for PS+ Members)

What About PlayStation Vue Local Channels?

PlayStation Vue offers local channels like NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX, as well as regional sports networks, to fans living in select cities. Availability varies depending on where you live. You can search by your ZIP code to see what’s available in your area. Click here to find out.

In general, Vue offers very good coverage of local channels. They are also expanding by regularly adding more local networks.

For PS Vue local channels, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The first is that you’ll only get the channels that are relevant to your area. Also, Vue is constantly expanding, so any PlayStation Vue channels list you see that includes local channels is likely out of date. It’s best to just check on the official website (and sign up for a free 5-day trial while you’re at it) to see what is offered.

Lastly, another important thing to keep in mind is that even if a local channel is not available live in your area, you should still be able to get on-demand content from that channel. So, for example, if you want to watch NBC but don’t live in an area where Vue offers NBC, you can still watch NBC shows on-demand. This generally doesn’t work for sporting events, however – only shows and other non-sports content. You can check out the FAQs for more details.

PlayStation Vue Channel List: Bottom Line

Overall, we rank PS Vue as one of the best streaming services out there. It offers a premium lineup of channels, covering virtually everything that you’d want to watch. The basic package is sufficient for most folks, but for many the $55/month Core package provides the best value. This is especially true for sports fans, as the Core package adds tons of important sports networks.

In the end, it’s up to you to review the PlayStation Vue channels list and select the package that works best for you. Remember, you can try the service out for free with a 5-day free trial, so you have nothing to lose! Let us know if you have any questions.
