How Sling TV DVR works

How to record your favorite movies & shows

  1. To record your favorite show, access the guide.
  2. Once you find the program you want to record, tap the record button.
  3. Upon doing this, you’ll see the program being recorded in your guide. 

How to find your recordings

  1. To find your recordings, go to the My TV tab.
  2. Under the My TV tab, access recordings.
  3. Select the recording you want, then play it. 
  4. You can also use this section to remove old recordings to free up space. 

Sling TV DVR limitations

It’s important to note Sling TV DVR service does have some limitations. To demonstrate, you won’t be able to record programs on certain sports networks such as ESPN 3, the SEC Network + and the ACC Network.
