Based on the novel of the same name, Get Shorty is about Miles Daly (Chris O’Dowd). Originally the muscle for a Nevada crime ring, he decides it’s time for a change and wants to become a movie producer so he can launder money through his films. Daly finds a partner in Rick (Ray Romano) a washed up movie producer of crappy films that can at least help Daly figure out Hollywood for all its worth.
