A service designed specifically for sports fans

fuboTV logo

fuboTV is a streaming service focused on live sports. It’s a great solution for folks who love to keep up with their favorite teams across a broad variety of sports. For NFL, the service offers NBC, FOX and CBS in most areas, as well as NFL Network. So, it’s a great way to watch TNF games online. Unfortunately, it’s missing ESPN, though.

A Great Selection for Sports Fans

There are over 95 channels on fuboTV, the bulk of which are aimed at sports fans. Despite the sports-focused nature of the service, there are still plenty of useful general channels, including USA, Bravo, SyFy, FOX News, FX and much more.

  • $55 per month
  • Over 95 channels covered
  • Great coverage of regional channels like NBC and FOX
  • TONS of sports networks

  • Works on most devices

GET THE THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL LIVE STREAM CHEAP VIA SLING TV

Enjoy one of the most affordable streaming options for just $25 a month

Sling TV Review

Sling TV is a live streaming service that offers an excellent alternative to cable TV. With plans from just $25 a month, it’s a very affordable option. There are 20-100+ channels available, depending on which package you choose, and all of these channels can be watched live. Sling TV includes NFL Network in its Sling Blue package, which covers Thursday Night Football streaming. It also offers FOX, but only in a limited number of markets. Note that some games that also air on FOX or Amazon Prime may be blacked out from live streaming on Sling TV, but the games that air exclusively on NFL Network will be available to stream live. With that said, Sling TV DOES offer FOX streaming in some areas, so if you’re in a covered area, you’ll be able to watch those games on Sling, too.

A Good Basic Selection at a Great Price

Sling provides a great selection at an even better value. Other channels that Sling TV offers include ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, and NBC/FOX/regional sports networks, in select areas. This means Sling will be useful all season long for watching live football – not just for the Thursday Night Football stream. See our Sling TV review to learn more.

  • Just $25 a month
  • No contract or commitment
  • Watch some TNF games this season
  • Many useful channels for the whole family
  • You can use Sling TV on most devices, ranging from smart TVs to smart phones, gaming consoles to streaming players, and more.

STREAM THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ONLINE + TONS MORE WITH HULU LIVE

Enjoy over 60 channels to watch live, plus a huge library of on-demand entertainment

Hulu

Hulu Live is a popular streaming service that’s great for both live and on-demand entertainment. It covers FOX in most areas, so you’ll be able to get the Thursday Night Football stream most nights. However, it does not offer NFL Network, so the handful of games that air exclusively on NFL Network will not be view-able via Hulu Live.

Key Sports Channels

Hulu Live offers many great channels for sports fans, including the ESPN family of networks. It also offers excellent coverage of NBC, FOX and CBS – the most widespread coverage of any of the major online streaming platforms. You can check specific channels that are available in your area during the signup process.

FAMILIES CAN WATCH TNF ONLINE VIA PLAYSTATION VUE

Vue’s simultaneous streaming on up to 5 devices keeps the whole family happy

PlayStation Vue

PlayStation Vue provides another good way to watch Thursday Night Football online. The service has plans starting from $50 a month, and it does not require a contract. You can use it on most devices, including PlayStation consoles, streaming players like Roku and Apple TV, and mobile devices. Multiple plans are available and all of them offer an on-demand library and a cloud-DVR.

A Streaming Solution for Families

playstation vue

NFL Network is included in some packages, which means direct access to some Thursday Night Football game live streams. FOX is also available in many areas, for even more coverage. Keep in mind the same blackouts may apply – only games airing exclusively on NFL Network will be viewable live using this service. Unless of course you live in an area where Vue offers FOX, in which case you’ll be able to stream the game on those networks. One key perk of Vue is that you can use it on up to 5 devices at once, with each device watching something different! That makes it a great solution for larger households.

  • $50 a month for the base package
  • No contract
  • 45+ channels included
  • Stream on 5 devices simultaneously
  • Good coverage of regional channels
  • See our PS Vue review for details.

nfl game pass review

  • Stream on most mobile and streaming devices
  • Regular games are available on-demand
  • Preseason games can be watched live as long as they aren’t in your local area

WHAT CHANNEL IS THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ON?

Looking for the Thursday Night Football channel? This season, broadcast and streaming rights for TNF are a bit complicated. Coverage is split between a few networks. 11 games will be simulcast on Amazon Prime, FOX and NFL Network. The additional 2 games of the season will air exclusively on NFL Network. NFL Network will technically broadcast all of the games, but blackouts may apply in some areas where the game is also broadcast by FOX, or Amazon Prime. See the official Thursday Night Football schedule here for details.

Here’s our recommendation: get Amazon Prime for the 11 games that it will air (and all the other awesome benefits of Prime membership) and get Sling TV for the NFL Network hosted games. This should get you access to every Thursday Night Football game of the season. Amazon Prime offers a 30-day free trial, and Sling TV has a 7-day free trial.
