When We Rise is a four-part mini-series about the real-life LGBT men and women who fought personal and political battles to have their voices heard in the civil rights movement. The series will include Mary-Louise Parker as Roma Guy, Rachel Griffiths as Roma's wife and activist, Diane, Guy Pearce as Cleve Jones, Ivory Aquino as Cecilia Chung, and Michael K. Williams as Ken Jones. Other guest stars will include Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'Donnell, Phylicia Rashad, Rob Reiner, and many others. When We Rise begins airing on ABC on February 27 from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET. The other air dates are March 1, March 2, and March 3.
